Cutter Scout Reservation (Boy Scout Camp) is on China Grade Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains off of Highway 9

Directions to the location from Burlingame are:

- Take 280 South to Woodside Road.
- Take Woodside Road West to Hwy 35 (Skyline).
- Take Hwy 35 South to Hwy 9. (Into Santa Cruz County)
- Take Hwy 9 West toward Boulder Creek to Hwy 236. Hwy 9 curves left at this point and 236 goes straight. You want to go straight.
- Take Hwy 236 West about 5 miles to China Grade Road. Hwy 236 becomes very narrow and has significant curves in it. Stay with it.
- Take a right on China Grade Road and go 4.5 miles into the Scout camp. (Back into San Mateo Co.)
- China Grade turns to gravel about 2.5 miles in.
- You will see a fork in the road with a sign reading "Butano Fire Road" (pointing left) and "Cutter Scout Reservation" (pointing straight.) Stop here, and park as far off to the left as possible.

It will take about 1 hour 10 minutes from Burlingame.

If you're coming from the south, you can pick up Hwy 9 in Saratoga and come in that way.

- left 1st light (Allendale)
- right 2nd driveway into the college parking area.
- right at stop sign and another quick right into lot.
- AAS-37 (classroom) is across grassy plot. It is the corner room.

Driving time from Palo Alto is 45 minutes without traffic problems.
